The Yukon Bluegrass Music Society is entirely run by volunteers. The purpose of the society is to encourage both the playing and enjoyment of bluegrass/old-time music in the Yukon. The society hosts bi-weekly slow jams at Hellaby Hall in Whitehorse on the first and third Tuesday of each month, October through April. The Kluane Mountain Bluegrass Festival and Music Camp are the society’s main projects.
